How direct billing works
Tell us your insurer when you book
Add it to your note when you book online, or mention it when you call.
We check your cover before you arrive
If something is not covered, we let you know the day before so there are no surprises.
You pay only the excess
We send the rest of the invoice to your insurer. Receipts land in your email.
You do not need one to book
Physiotherapists can assess and treat you directly. Most of our patients come without a referral.
Some insurers ask for one
A few policies only pay after a doctor's referral. Check your terms, or ask us and we will check for you.
Coming from a doctor or surgeon
Bring the referral or send it before your visit, and we will read it before you arrive.
After an operation
We follow your surgeon's rehab plan and send them a short update when you are discharged.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly. If your insurer asks for a referral, we can help you get one.
Will my insurance cover it?
We bill most insurers directly, so you only pay your excess on the day.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable you can move in. Shorts for knee and hip problems, a vest top for shoulders.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people feel a clear change within three or four visits. We give you an honest estimate at the first one.
Can I cancel or move my time?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before. Later than that we charge half the fee.
