Ten years in Kallio

In 2016 we opened one room on Fleminginkatu. A short look back at what has changed, and what never will.

Ten years ago I signed the lease on one small room in Kallio, painted it myself and bought a second hand treatment table. The first week I had four patients. Two of them were friends.

What has changed

We now have three treatment rooms, a small studio for classes, and three physiotherapists. Mikael joined in 2019 and Chiara in 2022. We have seen more than four thousand people.

What has not

Every first visit is still a full hour. You still see the same person every time. And we still give you three exercises, not twelve.

To every patient who trusted us with a sore back, a new knee or a first run after a baby: thank you. Here is to the next ten years, in the same street, with the same door.
